Neon Drift Circuit
★★★★☆ 4.3
Neon Drift Circuit gets the most important thing right: it feels fast. The tracks are neon-soaked and a little ridiculous, and the drifting mechanic is satisfying once your thumbs learn the timing. Tap to brake into a corner, let the car slide, feather it back — when it clicks, it's great.
There's a car upgrade system that's simple but motivating. You tune handling and speed, and the differences are noticeable on the track. I stuck to one favorite car and just kept improving it.
Touch controls on a racer are always risky, but here they mostly work. Occasionally a tight hairpin gets frustrating, but that's part of the arcade charm.
